53rd Steel City Oktoberfest in the Hammer

Where better to enjoy Oktoberfest in Hamilton, than the Germania Club? Come and enjoy the Bavarian Beer Garden in the large parking lot adjacent to the Club buiilding.  New this year is a family oriented afternoon, with music and activities for all ages. There will be great music with familiar Oktoberfest sing-a-long tunes. Starting at 7:30pm the Nu-Tones Band will be in the house to keep things hopping all night long.

Lots of delicious German foods like Schnitzel, Sausages, Pork Hocks, Potato Salad and good old sauerkraut (Oma's special recipe) will be available all day and in the evening. Tasty German Pretzels will be on hand to curb the nibbles. Of course it wouldn't be Oktoberfest without beer. This year we are proud to have Paulaner Beer from Munich in Germany as our beer on tap.Come thirsty, and you will leave satisfied. Of course we have Canadian beers on hand to quench your thirst, too.

The Oktoberfest team and the team from Paulaner will be in the house to keep the spirit going and make sure you enjoy "Munich in Hamilton" at the Germania Club. This year the Germania Club celebrates 160 years in Hamilton, and that is a lot of experience in having a good time.

Saturday evening starting between 6pm and 8pm we will be tapping of the official Keg of Freibier (free beer), following that we will choose and crown Ms Oktoberfest 2024.



So come out to the Original Hamilton Steel City Oktoberfest, bring your friends and family, or come alone and make new friends.
